Ed Becker is a contemporary Catholic singer-songwriter and guitarist with over 40 years of experience in music ministry including everything from singing the Latin High Mass at St. Mathew’s Cathedral to leading thousands of teens in song for youth masses at Kings Dominion and Six Flags amusement parks. He has performed at national events such as the National Federation of Catholic Youth Ministers (NFCYM) convention in Denver, the Eucharistic Congress at the DC Convention Center, and several National Pastoral Musicians (NPM) conferences. His music has been played worldwide on EWTN radio and distributed by both Heartbeat Records and John Michael Talbot’s “Troubadour” label. He has released four full-length CDs and songbooks as well as a 6-song EP of music for Eucharistic Adoration. His music is currently available on Spotify, Amazon, Youtube, Apple Music and many other platforms. He has served in full-time, part-time, and volunteer music ministry leadership positions at several parishes in the MD, DC, and VA area and currently serves as part-time music director at Our Lady of the Visitation parish in Darnestown Md. Mr. Becker recently received a Graduate Certificate in Sacred Scripture from Catholic Distance University after completing most of his undergraduate theology coursework with Franciscan University.
