Profile: Andrew Goldstein

I'm a Catholic musician and songwriter based in Olympia, WA (60 miles South of Seattle).
As a music director, I've served four years at Saint Michael Parish in Olympia, a parish of 3,500 families that worships with everything from contemporary praise to Gregorian Chant. I've lead worship at local conferences and retreats, and led music for for Mass at the 2020 Alpha National Conference in Phoenix, AZ.
As a songwriter, I've collaborated in co-writes with musicians from around the country, and am currently working on recording tracks for my first public release. I was selected as a featured songwriter for the 2020 Catholic Creatives Conference, and my music has been used for the Washington State Catholic Advocacy Day and more.
Prior to working for the Church, I was an arts administrator for professional orchestras, opera houses, and more. I specifically spent considerable time with an organization I founded in Seattle called Emerald City Music, which made classical chamber music more casual and accessible to millennials. I have degrees in music and nonprofit management and am well versed as a vocalist, guitarist, and pianist. All that said, I’m very humble about the fact that I’m very early in my songwriting journey, and am wildly excited to learn, grow, and hone in on my craft.
